kilok.art presents a short visual evolution of Pavlo Skoropadsky — one of the most complex figures in Ukrainian history.
The video follows him through key stages of his life: aristocratic childhood, military education, service in the Imperial Guard, the Russo-Japanese War, family life, the First World War, command of the 1st Ukrainian Corps, proclamation as Hetman in 1918, the Ukrainian State, exile, and historical memory.
We wanted the video to feel not like a simple slideshow, but like a continuous journey through time. Each image leads into the next through movement: walking, turning, standing, sitting, and entering a new historical space. The goal was to show not only the political figure, but also the man behind the title — officer, father, statesman, exile, and symbol of memory.
